HOT’s Exploration & Development Services
HOT’s Exploration & Development Services include integrated reservoir studies, from seismic interpretation to the design of surface facilities. Our special area of expertise is the development of high-resolution 3D static and dynamic reservoir models. We offer superior, tailored, solutions which help to reduce exploration and development risk and maximize our client's returns.
Over the past 20 years we have carried out studies around the world. We have worked on oil and gas reservoirs, on underground gas storage, in clastic and carbonate environments, on heavily faulted and fractured reservoirs, on new discoveries as well as mature giant fields, and have elaborated field development plans covering a variety of development strategies. Some of our recent achievements include:
- Tripled production in a mature carbonate field.
- A major change in production strategy for a mature giant field, saving the operator significant capital and operational expenditure and resulting in increased production revenues.
- Re-developed a large carbonate field. Downsized the planned water injection and concluded a lack of miscible/immiscible EOR potential by CO2 injection.
