Enhanced Recovery
CO2 Injection
Deterministic and stochastic seismic inversion and fracture network modelling to upgrade a high-resolution geological model. Some 30 years of production history was matched and the feasibility of CO2 injection assessed.
CO2 and HC Injection
A 170-well integrated study to determine the optimal operating plan for the field including the feasibility of HC and CO2 injection. A thorough EOS fluid characterization was performed. Compositional simulation work included matching of slim tube and core displacement experiments, sector and full-field modelling. The work was completed with a conceptual surface facilities design study.
CO2 and N2 Injection
Study of a mature reservoir with some 80 years of production history and low reservoir pressure. The work included characterization of the fluid composition with an EOS model, history matching and conversion from black-oil model to compositional.
PVT Analysis for Gas Injection Studies
Comprehensive experimental laboratory studies on PVT analysis and fluid characterization, slim tube and displacement tests to evaluate the feasibility of CO2- and HC gas injection.
