Integrated Fracture Network Modelling
The integration of geoscience and engineering data resulted in a model that explained the behaviour of the complex reservoir for the first time in the history of this highly fractured carbonate field. The validity of the resulting reservoir model was proven by the successful completion of a horizontal sidetrack in one of the dry wells.

Fractured Carbonate Field Study
Engineering and numerical modelling studies were performed to understand the complex field behaviour and to predict future performance under different development scenarios. Existing surface facilities were reviewed and possible upgrading programs developed. The study was completed with an economic analysis.

3D Fracture Characterization
This 3D fracture-distribution study of a carbonate field included seismic-based fracture analysis, and the use of neural network based algorithms and workflows to derive the 3D fracture density and orientation for reservoir simulation input.

Simulation of a Heavily Faulted and Fractured Reservoir
A study to model this geologically highly complex reservoir, including more than 200 normal, reverse and Y-faults. The resulting simulation model takes into account all available faulting data and served to forecast the performance of extended-reach horizontal wells.

Fracture Modelling for Steam Injection
A fracture modelling study was performed in the process of planning steam injection operations.
