Course Level: Basic This two day course is designed for people who wish to gain a fundamental understanding of the upstream petroleum industry. The course explains the business, operation, processes and technologies in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons. The course will teach the structure and dynamics of the industry and will also provide the basic fundamentals as well as the terminology used.

- Well completion – preparing a well for production

- Surface facilities
- Transportation – pipeline, tankers, etc.
- Economics – project economics
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This two day course is designed for non-technical staff and provides acomprehensive overview of the upstream part of the petroleum business to anyonewho is involved in the industry, whether directly, providing professional services, or being associated with the petroleum industry (e.g. people working inlegal-, financial- , accounting- , IT-, HR- and marketing departments, secretaries,personal assistants, etc.).
