ONLINE: Special Core Analysis: Petrophysical Imaging Applications (RES944)

    Description

This course skills participants in the analysis, application and integration of core computed tomography (CT) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) imaging techniques.
The physics, equipment and data processing for CT and NMR measurements are reviewed and applied for reservoir characterization and recovery examples.
The course covers both basic and advanced applications extending from basic core depth shift considerations to core orientation and differentiation of rock fluid interactions.

Course Structure: 4 modules of max. 2 hours each, delivered over 2 days
Each day will consist of 2 modules of 2 hours each (1 morning/1 afternoon) with multiple breaks.

    Course Level: Skill
    Duration: 2 days
    Instructor: Jim Funk
