FREE WEBINAR: How to do Quick Look Shaly Sand Log Analysis with Confidence (PPH936)

    Description

This webinar reminds of some of the numerous simple, cross disciplinary techniques which we can use to cross-check and harden our Quick Look log analysis. Special log, non-log and generic commonly available information is applied to quick look processes such as NMR partial porosities, salinity feasibility, rock typed generic equations and a full circle reconciliation. The diversity of inputs used affords a degree of confidence simply not possible with stand-alone, resistivity based log analysis.

Webinar Structure: 1 module of approximately 1 hour, including presentation of theory and Q&A session
Start Time: 09:00 am CET (Central European Time)

    Course Level: Skill
    Duration: 1 days
    Instructor: Mark Deakin

Designed for you, if you are...

    • A geologist, operations geologist, log analyst, reservoir engineer, exploration manager or petrophysicist

    How we build your confidence

    • Online presentation based on up-to-date industry information and practical experience
    • Q&A session

    The benefits from attending

Your Quick Look log analysis will take on a new found evidence based reality and become the benchmark by which all others are measured.

    Topics

    • Using generic pressure, permeability, saturation and NMR data intelligently during quick look
    • Estimating salinity (Rw) without salinity or water zone data
    • Archie is a shaly sand equation too, if…
    • Process summary: simple, logical
