This course addresses key technical topics in petroleum engineering concerning the development of offshore oil and gas fields. It provides an overview of the field planning and development process, focusing and expanding on the production performance of the integrated production system (reservoir, wellbore, surface network). The course teaches the common field architectures and production system layouts, their functionality, technology involved as well as engineering design methods and considerations for offshore oil and gas fields.
